KAMPAI!

In 1994 the Japanese beer tax laws were lifted after nearly a century of strict regulations. In Osaka, Japan there's an annual celebration of almost 300 Japanese microbreweries pouring a frosty froth. The Great Japan Beer Festival proves the country is not only drinking sake, but also has a passion for beer. The event runs from July 17-19 in Osaka, and if you can't make this party, mark your calendar for September 18-20 for a continuation in Yokohama.
